Qualifications to Attend AAPEX and The SEMA Show 2026

If you are part of the Automotive Aftermarket, AAPEX and the SEMA Show are for you!

AAPEX and the SEMA Show are business-to-business trade events. To attend, you just need to verify that your company is active in the automotive aftermarket and that you are the current owner or an employee.

Registration requires an active email address. Using a company-domain email is preferred, as it helps verify your industry role and speeds up approval of your registration.

Documentation you will need:

  • Staff and/or Employee: Upload one (1) document from Group A and one (1) document from Group B.
  • Business Owner: Upload one (1) document from Group B.

*The document submitted must include your name as the owner of the company and be valid through November 6, 2026.*

If you registered and were approved for last year's Show(s) and have not changed your company, job title, or contact information, you may not be required to show documentation of your role in the automotive aftermarket again.

Group A Verify your employment at an active company in the automotive aftermarket. Group B Demonstrate that your company is active in the automotive aftermarket.
Business Email

An active business email with the company email domain. We will utilize the email you have provided in the registration process as your employment verification.

Not Accepted Generic email domains such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail are not accepted as a qualifying Business Email.
Company Website

An official active company website indicating the name of the company listed in the registration, along with information that indicates the company is in the automotive aftermarket industry.

We will use the company website URL you have provided in the registration process to review your company information.

Check Stubs

Two most recent paycheck stubs including:

  • Registrant's name
  • Company registered
  • Pay period dates

Business License / Permit

A current and valid business license or permit that is valid through November 6, 2026. Name of the registrant must be listed as the owner and the company name that is registered.

Not Accepted
  1. License/Permit expired before November 6, 2026
  2. License/Permit that does not have registrant's name listed as the owner — will need to upload one (1) document from Group A.
Employee Badge

A photo of the current company badge including:

  • Registrant's name
  • Company registered

  3. Paper/cardstock cut-out images
  4. Screenshots of email signatures
Tax Registration Certificate / Business Registration

A current and valid tax registration certificate or business registration.

Not Accepted
  1. Tax Registration Certificate/Business Registration expired before November 6, 2026
  2. Tax Registration Certificate/Business Registration that does not include registrant's name — will need to upload one (1) document from Group A.
Invoices (if requested)

Two recent invoices showing automotive industry related material purchases in high volume from manufacturers such as the exhibitors at AAPEX and the SEMA Show.

You may be required to submit additional documentation such as contracts or purchase orders to prove that your company advises or makes purchases in quantity from the type of companies that exhibit in the Shows. All documents must be submitted in English.

  • Upload documents in one of the following formats: .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .PNG, .JPG, .BMP, .GIF, .TIF, .TIFF. Remove any spaces and special characters from the file name.
  • If you do not have documents available, you can submit your registration application and return to the Registration Resource Center to upload later.
  • While your registration application may be completed without qualifying documents, no action will be taken to approve your registration until the documents have been received.
  • The review process may take up to two weeks. Once complete, you will receive an email regarding approval. You may also log back into your Registration Resource Center to view your status.

  • Distributors and wholesalers supplying automotive aftermarket products
  • Retailers and e-commerce sellers of automotive parts and accessories
  • Installer and service shops, including:
    • Performance, restyling, and customization shops
    • Collision repair and calibration facilities
    • Mechanical and general repair shops
  • Jobbers and buying groups serving the aftermarket supply chain
  • Fleet operators and upfitters (light- and commercial-vehicle focused)
  • Original equipment (OE) and tier suppliers involved with specialty or aftermarket programs
  • Vehicle builders, fabricators, and custom shops
  • Tire, wheel, suspension, and brake businesses
  • Off-road, truck, restoration, and motorsports-focused businesses
  • International manufacturers and exporters active in the automotive aftermarket
  • Industry media and content creators covering the automotive aftermarket (trade-qualified)

  • Non-automotive companies and organizations
  • Accounting firms
  • Attorney and law firms
  • Exhibition industry service companies
  • Freight and transportation companies (excluding mechanics/fleet management)
  • Printers and packagers
  • Promotional products companies
  • Software companies
  • Travel agencies
  • Consumers and enthusiasts
