Shop talk among Keith Kyker and his crew at Kyker Rod and Kustoms of Telford TN, turned into an actual project over pizza one day. They figured they could take a donor Ford pickup and create a full-size 1969 Bronco, something Ford didn’t make until 1978. Kyker and crew found a donor 1969 Ford F100 and junked the bed. Then they took the top off a 1974 Ford van and merged it to the pickup body on a Chris Alston chassis with a 104” wheelbase. While the idea is cool, the results are amazing. For example, some might think the balanced and blueprinted ‘71 Ford 429c.i.d. engine is overkill on this SUV… we don’t. The music from this powerplant comes through a James Briggs installed Borla exhaust.
