Hanover Minnesota Based Specialty Detailing Company, Wizards Products, to Showcase Award Winning One-Off Full Sized 1969 Ford Bronco “Lone Ranger” at SEMA 2021

Las Vegas, NV October 26, 2021 – If the title seems confusing, you’re not alone. The photo tells some of the story, but if you’re asking yourself “how did they do that,” read on.

Shop talk among Keith Kyker and his crew at Kyker Rod and Kustoms of Telford TN, turned
into an actual project over pizza one day. They figured they could take a donor Ford pickup and create a full-size 1969 Bronco, something Ford didn’t make until 1978.

Kyker and crew found a donor 1969 Ford F100 and junked the bed. Then they took the top off a 1974 Ford van and merged it to the pickup body on a Chris Alston chassis with a 104” wheelbase.

While the idea is cool, the results are amazing. For example, some might think the balanced and blueprinted ‘71 Ford 429c.i.d. engine is overkill on this SUV… we don’t. The music from this powerplant comes through a James Briggs installed Borla exhaust. The meticulous detail under the hood is just a sample of the attention paid to every other part of this one-of-a-kind vehicle.

“This is our 28th year at SEMA and we are thrilled to showcase the Lone Ranger in our first outdoor SEMA exhibition.” said Marc Lawrance, Wizards Products General Manager. “It should provide a big draw to our west lot booth.”

Rather than imagine this ten-years-ahead of its time hot rod SUV, come see “Lone Ranger” at the outside west lot in the Wizards Products booth #70025.
