Promata Automotive brings a new patented vehicle door lock actuator OA3007 to SEMA with impressive waterproof rating and innovative signal activation settings. The OA3007 features a IP67 waterproof rating that far exceeds industry IPX3 standard rating, and a standard ON setting with single signal activation where traditional actuators require two signals. The actuator, as a component part of a machine, is often used in vehicles as door-lock and trunk latches etc. OA3007 product’s IP67 rating surpasses the previous industry standards of IPX3 rating for vehicle door & trunk. This water-resistant property provides an extra layer of protection in case of water splashes or brief submerges. This patented water resistant design also extends the application of the actuator. The Normal ON design makes the product easy to use, therefore a one way signal will operate the actuator. The actuator is normally at extended position, when power is on, the actuator will retract back immediately; and then when the power is off, the actuator will return to the extended position at once. The Normal OFF design is also available upon request.
