EBC BRAKES 40TH ANNIVERSARY DOUBLE UNVEIL & BRITISH TAKE OVER

Hopping over the pond and visiting SEMA is a dream for most British car fanatics, but this year to celebrate EBC Brakes 40th Anniversary in style, the Brits are coming and they’re coming in force. Petrolheadonism & Powernation TV have partnered with EBC Brakes to present two very different builds for unveiling at the anniversary booth in Central Hall at 12pm Tuesday 31st October. As well as incredible builds, EBC Brakes has a 50 strong contingency of British Ambassadors attending which includes some notable faces from TV and Social Media.

Petrolheadonism has dreamt of presenting a build at SEMA for several years and together with British colleagues are proudly presenting an extremely rare, reimagined useable classic in their 1973 Toyota Corolla KE25 build. The retro classic build enjoys an uprated and tuned 1600 4AGE AE86 engine with Jenvy throttle bodies, laced in carbon fibre and some serious Alpha Performance Fabrications workmanship which extends throughout the build. The Pennings UK bodywork and paint glistens with a deep Pearl Lamborghini Nero Granatas which defines the inimitable classic lines brilliantly under the convention centre lights. Purposefully debadged to retain mystery, the hypercar grade satin finish carbon fibre work by Elite Carbon Composites on their inaugural build project adds to the stealth appearance of the Corolla. EBC Brakes’s calipers will be clearly visible through the throwback 6AD Forged 3 spoke two piece wheels. Petrolheadonism bills this as an attractive useable classic build but at the same time, possibly the most expensive Classic Corolla build in the world, a hefty $250,000 build sheet to create something very special worthy of SEMA Central Hall. Quite aptly, the Corolla will be adorned in the British Flag airshroud ready for the 12pm Opening Day unveil.

Powernation TV have built cars for EBC Brakes SEMA display for several years and return with a fully caged, 700 HP 1972 carbon fiber Camaro. The build is based around road course racing with grass roots heritage. The Camaro has been stripped down, fully caged and prepped for serious horsepower. It's power plant is a World Products Mototown LS with LME induction putting out 700 HP, that's backed by a Midvalley 4 speed direct for a Cup car. Suspension was handled by UMI Performance with a Quick Performance full floating 9 inch rear axle. The Camaro body has extensive modifications with carbon fiber quarter panels, fenders, doors, hood and decklid. Tires are 315-30-18 slicks with a EBC C5 Corvette Big Brake Kit and 6 piston calipers up front, and the rear brakes are a custom EBC floating rotor set-up with 4 piston calipers. The Camaro is set-up to run 170 mph+!!

EBC Brakes has a literal army of ambassadors visiting Las Vegas to celebrate their 40th Anniversary and we can’t help but name a few of the famous faces that will be attending SEMA, many for their first time and fulfilling a lifelong dream.
