LAS VEGAS -- MagnaFlow will host professional builder Steve Strope’s latest creation from Pure Vision Design during the 2026 SEMA Show and will unveil a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro on Tuesday, Nov. 3. “What can possibly be done to a '69 Camaro that hasn't already been done?" asked Strope. "Great question. Our hobby has been flooded with spectacularly overdone Pro Touring 69 Camaros, so Pure Vision went back to basics while quietly trying to nudge the envelope -- not push, just nudge it.” As with all Pure Vision builds, the Camaro will feature plenty of Easter Eggs, if you know where to look, but at the same time you will be shocked by the simplicity of things, like a carbureted big-block (GM 502!) cooled by US radiator and breathing through a custom engineered stainless exhaust system skillfully fabricated by MagnaFlow’s own research and development team. This is backed up by the ever-trusty Turbo 400/GearVendors combo. More rock solid, reliable performance parts from Detroit Speed, JRI Shocks, and Baer Brakes are found under the body. The car sits on one-offs HRE wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber. Outside, Strope leaned on the good folks at AMD to provide all the stock sheet metal, then it was all cleaned up and painted Ice Grey Metallic by Body & Paint by Jeff in Oxnard, Calif. Inside the car features lots of beautiful work done by Eric Thorson Custom Upholstery to make it look like the Graphite Blue factory order option. Driving comfort and enjoyment are brought by Dynamat, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital, and Kicker Audio.
