MVAV President and founder Greg Conser had long been interested in including onboard air in his builds but had been unable to find the interior space needed for the components. “We had no room left in the vehicle to add onboard air,” says Conser. “But I felt it was important to add. We hadn’t looked at the possibility of putting an air system underneath the vehicle, but Kleinn came through and made it happen with a system that bolts onto the frame, protects the tank, and has a waterproof compressor. I was surprised when their sales manager, engineer, and product manager all showed up. These guys knew what they were doing. After about 30 minutes of measuring and taking photos, they said they were confident they would be able to design a core product that would give my customers greatly added value but would also be easy for my team to install. One month later they came in with a prototype and I knew it would be a home run.". Kleinn President Eric Schaffer is enthusiastic about working with MVAV. “The high-performance van customization market was spot-on for us,” he said. “These are the people who love adventure and we’ve been serving that off-road adventure market for years. There are so many things that these folks can do with the onboard air system. They can inflate tires, air mattresses, and rafts, run small air tools, forced air for cleaning and of course power air horns.
