As the US celebrates her 250th anniversary, the HayesX-250 offers a glimpse into the future of sport and recreation flight. With the tagline “Where Dreams Take Flight”, the HayesX-250 is designed to showcase the new era of personal flight and will appeal to enthusiasts at the forefront of automotive and aviation innovation. HayesX-250 is designed and fully compliant with the US FAA Part 103 regulations for ultralight vehicles. No pilot license is required to fly the aircraft. HayesX, co-founded by Tim and Ciaran Hayes in Las Vegas, reflects the founding team’s deep roots in aviation. Tim’s father was the late U.S. Air Force Major General William R. Hayes, who commanded the wing that brought the legendary SR-71 Blackbird operational. Ciaran is a former international Airport Board Director and Harvard University Senior Fellow with over 20 years senior management and governance experience. Ben Liu is Head of Technology and brings more than 20 years of experience developing eVTOL aircraft, hybrid UAVs, and light sport planes.
