New technology buffer saves time and improves profits with superior finishes.

Super Shiner is creating a totally new technology surface care product line that will be introduced at the upcoming SEMA Show November 2, 2021. The Super Shiner system includes a self-feeding patent pending buffer with a unique "Compounds in a Cartridge" feature, flexible concave Velcro backing plates, contoured wool and foam polishing pads and specially formulated compounds and waxes packaged in proprietary pouches.

After trying many of the buffers and polishing compounds available, Tim Thompson, a car detailer for over 25 years, began to explore different ways to make polishing a car faster with better results. He had the original idea for a self-feeding buffer many years ago and built his first crude prototype by modifying an existing buffer. It became a labor of love and over time he improved this device and began to use it exclusively in his detailing business. “It just works better” says Tim, “It saves me about one third the time to do a job with less compound waste and I get better results. I actually found I could make more money using my buffer than with all the traditional products now on the market”.

One of the secrets Tim discovered is that the heat generated from friction is not your enemy but your friend. Heating of a dull, faded finish helps repair most surface imperfections. His unique design allows this heat to be controlled because of the self-feeding wet applications that can be applied to the surface without stopping resulting in a superior, longer lasting, scratch and swirl free finish.

Tim met Jon Tedesco through a family friend and together they formed Super Shiner to finalize the development and marketing efforts. Jon is a long time hot rodder and entrepreneur who has owned product development and marketing companies. “When I saw what Tim had created, I asked what his plans were to make this product available and he said that’s going to be your job”.

The company plans to introduce the Super Shiner in early 2022 as an add-on attachment to an existing buffer which will be followed up with an all new ergonomically designed buffer later in the year.

After many years of development and testing, opportunities now exist for the final production, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of these exciting products with the Super Shiner branded technology. “We’re now seeking licensees or joint venture partners to join with us to complete this journey”. www.supershiner.com
