Roberts David A. Roberts’ love for motorsports began as a young boy with a fondness for go-karts, and quickly launched into a fascination with fast cars on and off the track. Now Roberts tells his personal stories of steering his dream throughout the decades in his memoir Baja to Bathurst: Stories of Race Events Across the Globe—a narrative and life so full and entertaining to read that it is split into two volumes. Volume 1 will be released at SEMA, November 4-7, 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center; Volume 2 is set to be released this winter. Two Meet and Greet/Book Signing events with Mr. Roberts are planned for Wednesday, November 5 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, and Thursday, November 6 from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Both events will take place in the Hawk Performance booth #23633, Central Hall, LVCC. David A. Roberts has enjoyed a successful business career holding a variety of engineering, manufacturing and management roles across a plethora of industries including, but not limited to, automotive manufacturing. He served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of two publicly traded companies during his career, including Carlisle Companies, then parent company of Hawk Performance. As a graduate of Purdue University Northwest, his success in business has allowed he and his wife to become instrumental leaders in the support of Purdue’s STEM education and Commercialization and Manufacturing Center (CMEC). The Roberts are also ardent supporters of Indiana University’s Stark Neuroscience Research Center which is seeking the cause and a cure for diseases like Alzheimer’s.
