Industry-First Hydrogen-Powered Yamaha Outboard with boat Hydrogen Fuel System Designed By Roush® on a Regulator® Boat Hull on Display in FutureTech Studio of 2024 SEMA® Show

For the first time in the company’s history, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit will participate in the SEMA FutureTech Studio during SEMA 2024, the world’s leading automotive trade show, in Las Vegas, Nov. 5-8, 2024. Yamaha will showcase its concept H2 outboard featuring a boat hydrogen fuel system designed by Roush on a Regulator Marine hull. Together, Yamaha, Regulator and Roush will highlight future of vehicle propulsion.

Yamaha’s affiliation with SEMA and presence at the show gives the company an opportunity to highlight the multi-technology approach recommended by both SEMA and Yamaha to achieve carbon neutrality within product lines. The show also allows Yamaha to reach a wider customer audience.

On Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 12:00 p.m., located in the SEMA FutureTech Studio, Yamaha will feature a FutureTech Fireside Chat with Grant Suzuki, Chief Technology Officer, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit; Matt Van Benschoten, Vice President, Advanced Engineering, Roush; and Don Seal, Manufacturing Engineer, Regulator Marine.

In addition, Grant Suzuki will also participate in a panel in West Hall, W309 on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 9:00 a.m. entitled “Advanced Fuels and Powertrains: Current Landscape and Innovations.” Representatives from Yamaha, Roush and Regulator will be available to answer questions for media attendees during the 2024 SEMA show.
