Quantum Tools, an innovative tool manufacturer, is excited to introduce the Click2Angle (C2A) at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The C2A is a new category of hybrid torque wrenches. As the first hybrid torque wrench on the market, the C2A combines the speed and simplicity of a micro-clicker with the angle accuracy and digital display of an electronic torque wrench. “At Quantum Tools, we recognized the challenge technicians faced when choosing between micro-clicker and electronic torque wrenches,” said Stephen Argo, President of Quantum Tools. “With the Click2Angle, they no longer must compromise. Our hybrid torque wrench gives the technician their preferred click-style torque wrench with the needed angle capability in one tool.” The cutting-edge C2A features an integrated angle mode, eliminating the need for technicians to use a separate external angle meter—a common requirement in many automotive and industrial applications. Angle torque is often required for critical fastener joints because it provides a more precise and consistent method of achieving the desired clamping force compared to simply using torque alone. Now, with the C2A, professionals can save time, increase efficiency, and work with greater accuracy using a single tool. The C2A design includes a color TFT display with high-contrast and high-brightness modes for optimal viewing in all lighting conditions. When measuring angle, the numbers change color and become larger, making it even easier to read. Additional advanced features include five units of measurement for torque setting (ft-lb, in-lb, Nm, kg-cm, and kg-m), three angle alert modes (progressive LEDs, buzzer, and vibration), and cumulative angle measurement from 1-360°. Exclusive to the C2A is a high-contrast battery backup SAE torque setting scale for setting target torque and continued operation when batteries are dead. The C2A is available in three models that comply with the latest ASME B107.300-2021, and include the new higher-torque capabilities. Models include 3/8-inch drive 125 ft-lb, ½-inch drive 180 ft-lb, and ½-inch drive 300 ft-lb wrenches. All the units include a 72-tooth low profile, reversible ratchet head with a 5° swing arc and high-strength flex joints with a 15° stop for optimal strength and access. In addition to the Click2Angle, Quantum Tools will showcase a full line of state-of-the-art micro-clickers at the SEMA Show. The QM Series includes models with 3/8-inch and ½-inch drive sizes, flex and solid ratchet heads, extended torque ranges, and high-contrast SAE/Metric torque setting scales.
