PPI is excited to launch two new products at the 2024 SEMA Show following user feedback. The first, PentaKur, was developed after many attendees at SEMA 2023 asked if the TopDog-V process (a 2008 SEMA New Product First Runner-Up) could be modified to solve the well-known Pentastar engines endemic problems of filter housings leaks, cam/tappet wear and hot running engines. The patent pending TopDogV modified aluminum housing fixes the oil leaks, the advanced filtration system removes recirculating debris from the engine oil reducing cam/tappet wear, and the cooler reduces hot running engine operating temperature. The second product, MotorVax, according to PPI President Adan Reinosa, P.E., is “a fast advanced (bypass grade) oil filtration system that also delivers the benefits of an oil accumulator, and optionally a cooler….”, to any engine but particularly turbocharged engines. In fact, according to Mr. Reinosa, “As we see an increase in vehicles with turbocharged engines in the mass automotive aftermarket, we created MotorVax to meet the challenges facing these harder working engines.” The MotorVax system consists of a patented multivalve filter head, working with an oil accumulator, to become a fast advanced oil filtration system following oil pressure cycles. MotorVax inhales dirty oil during increasing/maximum oil pressure and reinjects the cleaned oil back to the engine during decreasing/minimum oil pressure. MotorVax excels during stop-go, filtering an engine’s oil volume quickly after a few idle minimum PSI to max PSI back to idle minimum oil pressure cycles. It also provides a protective effect for turbochargers through reinjection of cleaner cooler oil during stop and go traffic, and at every stop during turbo spin-down or shutoff.
