This makes Ampere EV the first EV company to offer NACS with its aftermarket conversion system. The NACS port, developed by Tesla, is widely considered to be the industry standard for charging electric vehicles. Several rival automakers including BMW, Ford Motors, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia and Volvo have all reached agreements to use the NACS in their electric vehicles. NACS port is not only compatible with the Tesla Supercharging Network, but it’s smaller and has a faster charging speed.
