Designed, developed and tested in the USA at the new Tennessee HQ of Milltek Corp – the recently-launched U.S. division of renowned performance exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport – the new range is available for the 2024 2.3 EcoBoost, 5.0 V8 GT and Dark Horse special edition models. The first customer systems will be available from the end of the month, with Milltek Corp’s latest exhaust also featuring on the company’s Coyote V8-powered, 500hp Mustang Dark Horse demonstrator at this year’s SEMA show. Featuring 2.75-inch T304L stainless steel pipework, the systems offer a variety of options to suit owners’ requirements and preferences, while also being more durable and sharper looking than the factory exhausts. As well as providing power gains of up to 10hp and improved torque, the freer-flowing systems also help to optimize the further tuning potential of Ford’s new four-cylinder and V8 powerplants. Depending on how they wish their Mustang to sound, owners can fine-tune its distinctive acoustics with the choice of a center resonator, H pipe, X pipe, straight pipe or active H pipe. Milltek Corp’s bespoke mufflers with reflective chambers enhance the latest Mustang’s soundtrack while also ensuring that there is zero drone or resonance, meaning that there is no trade-off in terms of refinement for the more purposeful engine note. For GT and Dark Horse models, the enhanced systems are equipped with active valves and offer ‘plug and play’ compatibility with the factory exhaust mode selector. There is also an optional active valve upgrade kit for EcoBoost and GT models without the active exhaust. The systems finish in 4-inch tailpipes for EcoBoost and GT applications, and 4.5-inch for Dark Horse versions. Owners can further personalize the systems with a choice of polished stainless, Cerakote, Satin Black, Burnt/Blue Titanium or Brushed Satin Titanium. Prices start at $1,889 for the 2.3 EcoBoost version and $2,889 for the GT and Dark Horse.
