PowerPoint Presentations

Deck due October 16

A SEMA Show PowerPoint template has been provided to all speakers and moderators. Send your PPT deck to andyt@sema.org no later than October 16 and bring your presentation on a thumb drive. A laptop is available in the room, but it's highly recommended to bring your own laptop (the one your PPT was created on) to minimize display/font issues.

No presentation? Notify Andy Tompkins by October 16 and a background slide with the speakers' headshots will be prepared and displayed during your session.

For Moderators & Panels

Moderator & Panel Guidelines

  • Prepare ahead. Moderators should meet with panelists at least two weeks prior to the event to align on discussion topics and questions.
  • Mention the Show Disclaimer. Speakers and moderators should note the disclaimer (PPT slide #2) at the beginning of the session.
  • Ask for feedback. Remind attendees to use the SEMA Show app to provide session feedback at the end — the QR code is on your final PPT slide.
  • Watch for final comms. SEMA will send a final communication to all speakers by October 9.
