2026 AAPEX and the SEMA Show Television Broadcast, Film & Video Policy

  • PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO: Photography and video of exhibitor booths and/or products require permission from the respective exhibitor. No additional permits or credentials are needed for media taking still photography. Those filming commercial video will require a video permit.

  • DRONES/UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES (UAVS): Due to the proximity to Harry Reid International Airport, FAA regulations prohibit drones/UAVs of any kind to be flown at the  Venetian Expo/Caesars Forum and the Las Vegas Convention Center and Westgate. Drones/UAVs are NOT allowed at AAPEX and the SEMA Show and will be confiscated until show end (after the SEMA Cruise).

Show Management will consider all reasonable requests for access when made in writing in advance of the Shows by a representative of a regularly scheduled news, sports or featured program. Video crews are not allowed to shoot exhibitors or speakers for sponsorships or advertisements, nor are they permitted to charge for placement. All other requests including those of a commercial, marketing, documentary, entertainment, public service or other nature will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Video productions considered to be journalistic in nature are defined as those that are recorded and edited for broadcast or cablecast on regularly scheduled news, sports or feature programming. News or independent organizations may not rebroadcast, retransmit or otherwise supply video material of any Show event or any other program, department or entity without the express written consent of Auto Care Association, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers or SEMA.

Requests for credentials to attend a Show event and camera crew permits must be received in writing by Auto Care Association, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers or SEMA prior to any Show event. Show Management reserves the right to deny access.
