Building on over 20 years of success with the Victor/Musi 24° head design (PN 61419), the new Victor CNC Cylinder Heads (PN 61420 & 61430) feature revised intake port options and enhanced flow capabilities, making them a top choice for engine builders looking to achieve maximum power and performance. The large CNC rectangle ports have been designed to maintain high airspeed for maximum cylinder fill during valve opening to generate a high torque curve throughout the engine’s operating range. The updated line of Victor CNC 24° Cylinder Heads now offers three intake port configurations, providing increased flexibility for builders across a variety of applications, from high-performance street builds to full-race setups. In addition to the already existing and popular 377cc port size (PN 61419), the new 350cc “small port” option (PN 61420) delivers versatility for street performance in smaller cubic-inch engines. Meanwhile, the 395cc “big port” (PN 61430) is engineered for maximum competition naturally aspirated, nitrous-injected, and boosted applications using a “conventional” Big-Block Chevy head layout. These variations allow enthusiasts to select the right port size based on their engine's specific performance needs. Each cylinder head comes equipped with CNC-machined 121cc combustion chambers, ensuring precision and improved combustion efficiency. They also feature 128cc exhaust ports raised by 0.750”, significantly enhancing exhaust flow and reducing backpressure, which leads to improved engine efficiency. The intake and exhaust valves on both heads are designed to optimize airflow, contributing to superior performance at high RPM. The 350cc head (PN 61420) comes with 2.400” intake valves and 1.800” exhaust valves, while the 395cc head (PN 61430) has 2.500” intake valves and 1.800” exhaust valves. Additional features include ductile-iron interlocking intake and exhaust valve seats, 11/32” diameter bronze guides, accessory bosses, and Heli-coiled exhaust bolt holes for enhanced durability and versatility. These heads are sold bare and are designed for a minimum bore diameter of 4.47 inches, making them compatible with large displacement engines. The Victor CNC 24° Cylinder Heads are cast in the USA at Edelbrock’s state-of-the-art foundry using premium 356-T6 aluminum alloy and machined at the Edelbrock Race Center in Mooresville, NC.
