The world’s most unique and celebrated customized vehicles from the 2016 SEMA Show will gather and be accessible to the public on Friday afternoon, as the SEMA Cruise concludes at SEMA Ignited. The event will give consumers a rare opportunity to collect and share images of hundreds of customized vehicles featuring the newest and most innovative products from the 2016 SEMA Show. The Friday night event will include food trucks, music, entertainment, automotive celebrities, builders and more.

The SEMA Industry Awards Banquet is the automotive specialty-equipment market’s premier awards ceremony where industry excellence and achievements are celebrated. Held annually, the event is the industry’s single largest gala attended by nearly 3,000 automotive icons, professionals, supporters and celebrities. This year’s event will feature comedian Larry the Cable Guy, known for his signature catchphrase “Git-R-Done.” The multiplatinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner and voice of “Mater” in the animated feature film “Cars” and “Cars 2” will share his humor, wit and comedy in an exclusive performance for SEMA Showgoers. The program also includes the announcement of the SEMA Person of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, WD of the Year, Manufacturers’ Rep of the Year, Gen III of the Year and tributes to this year’s SEMA Hall of Fame inductees: Matt Agosta, Chip Foose and Gary Hooker.

SEMA Cruise at Show Close

The capper for the 2016 SEMA Show will be the annual SEMA Cruise. As the booths are dismantled and the products are packaged for shipment home, the booth and feature vehicles depart the convention center. This parade of rolling art is now one of the most-anticipated aspects of the annual gathering by the local populace. The cruise begins when the Show ends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The festivities include awards, giveaways, entertainment and seating for the crowd—expanded this year with additional bleachers. The parade culminates in SEMA’s newest event, SEMA Ignited. It’s a great way to celebrate a fantastic week of innovation and invention.
