(Oconomowoc, WI) -- Lake Country Manufacturing, a leader in the premium buffing and polishing pad market, has launched a new professional power tool company, LC Power Tools (www.LCPowerTools.com). With an initial concentration on power tools for the professional detailing market, LC Power Tools will focus on creating innovative, user-defined tools to make life easier for detailers.

Lake Country Manufacturing has strong roots in the detailing market, having developed hundreds of wool, foam and microfiber pads and products over the past forty years, including many patented designs. The company's dedication to introducing new and improved products to serve the detailing market’s ever-changing needs led to the decision to create the new power tool company.

“We’ve always prioritized user feedback and real-world testing for our buffing pads. In fact, our engineers and product design team have spent thousands of hours testing, refining and improving our premium pads by working side-by-side with professional detailers,” said Lake Country Manufacturing President Jay Schneider. “While testing our pads with pros, we heard a lot about the power tools they’re used on, and realized we had a unique opportunity to improve upon the classic power polisher design to meet the needs of today’s detail technicians.”

Those end-user insights, along with additional field research documenting how professionals use power polishers, led to the development of a revolutionary new product unlike any other power tool on the market. The patented UDOS is the first professional power polisher to offer a User Defined Orbital Stroke. UDOS is a 4-in-1 Random Orbit Polisher, including four different random orbit choices, allowing detailers to get more work done with just one tool.

Following additional research and detailer feedback, LC Power Tools will launch UDOS in 2019, along with a proprietary line of premium Lake Country Manufacturing pads designed for the tool.
