Las Vegas, Nevada - Celebrating their 70th Anniversary this year and just 6 years in the US market RUPES SpA will be exhibiting in their largest SEMA booth to date in the North Hall, #12161. The Italian based tool manufacturer with global headquarters in Milan will also be celebrating the opening of their new US facility in Louisville, Colorado immediately following the show.

If the celebration of 70 years of innovation was not enough the makers of the popular BigFoot polishing system will also unveil three new tools at the show for the first time in the US. Thus far these new creations have only been previewed to European audiences, the anticipation of these new tools and their corresponding systems for the US has been the subject of many discussions in the detailing and body shop industries in the US as they will change the tool supplier landscape and cement RUPES as not only a company of innovation, but an authority on all polishing and sanding systems.

Joining the BigFoot family of tools, the LK900E “Mille” is an all new design centered around a gear driven orbital movement; a technology that was first developed by RUPES in 1988 when their TK Series combined an orbital movement with a gear driven rotation for polishing applications. While other companies have adopted similar tools to this application RUPES now reenters the category with their signature mix of performance, ergonomics, and system based solutions.

The LH19E rotary polisher also joins the growing BigFoot tool range at SEMA. Using a double gear reduction process this lightweight rotary polisher produces immense amounts of torque and performance in a package that is ergonomically ideal to reduce operator fatigue. Like all tools in the BigFoot range the LH19E will feature a system that includes various pads and compounds, all designed to provide complete solutions.

Lastly, but certainly not least, is the debut of the Skorpio E palm sander featuring advanced brushless motor technology. The Skorpio E will be the first electric palm sander for RUPES in the North American market and its custom brushless outrunner DC motor was designed, engineered, and built in the state of the art RUPES factory in Milan. With many innovative features this sander promises to revolutionize the palm sander category.

Other interesting components to RUPES massive booth and 70th anniversary celebration will include commemorative merchandise to be given away at the show as well as a display featuring 11 custom painted tools from well-known artists. The tools will be voted on by fans with the most popular design winning $2000 to the charity of the painters choosing as well as $1500 in tools and equipment for the their shop courtesy of RUPES.

1947 marked the founding of RUPES in Milan, Italy and the company is showing no signs of slowing down their relentless drive to innovate and create solutions for a variety of industries. If the last 70 years are any indication of the future RUPES will continue to celebrate many more milestones in their history as they continue to expand.
