Torklift International releases Hero hitch

SUMNER Wash., — Torklift International now makes the strongest receiver hitch available for half-ton trucks.
The SuperHitch Hero is rated at 1,500 pounds tongue weight and 15,000 pounds pull when used with weight distribution.
“It’s a dual receiver system which means a couple things,” said Torklift International General Manager Jay Taylor. “It can be used with a dual extension and allows customers to haul in the top receiver and tow in the bottom receiver at the same time.”
Most applications do not require drilling because they attach to the truck frame using pre-drilled holes done at the factory. There are fits for Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge and Toyota.
“This hitch also comes with patented reinforced hitch pin locations,” Taylor added. “By reinforcing those hitch pin holes, it prevents common wear and rattling you might hear while towing down the road. It ensures the holes used for the hitch pins do not go from circular to oval overtime. The long term benefit is it will prevent the hitch from potentially breaking over time.”
Upon introducing the hitch to the world, it was provided a special name.
“We decided to call it Hero to honor our heroic soldiers and veterans,” said Torklift International VP of Operations Jack Kay. “For each SuperHitch Hero purchased through the end of the year, Torklift International will donate $25 to the Wounded Warrior Project. A large number of our customers are veterans and we wanted to give back.”
