Poway, Calif. (October 16, 2013) – BILSTEIN, the leader in monotube gas pressure shock absorbers, is proud to announce an exciting event for the media and SEMA attendees on Wednesday, November 6 at 1:30pm at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located in the Featured Vehicle Area of the Central Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center, the BILSTEIN press conference will include the presentation of the BMW 335i to the winner of their consumer sweepstakes and introduce the new smartphone adjustable B16 iRC suspension system. Look for the BMW on the ramp next to the Ford Motor Co. booth.
“We’re thrilled to present the customized BMW 335i to one of our lucky fans,” said Scott MacDonald, BILSTEIN director, marketing and product management. “We appreciate our loyal customers and this BMW is just one of the ways we can give back. The iRC system is a great new addition to our product line and we look forward to sharing its unique capabilities with the SEMA show crowd.”
After thousands of consumer votes, the BMW 335i was chosen over a Mustang GT and a Ford F-150 truck as the vehicle to be given away to the winner of the BILSTEIN Just Add… Sweepstakes. The winner received an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas to take delivery of the car at the SEMA show. Customized by GSR Autosport, the car is equipped with top aftermarket brands such as Brembo brakes, DENSO, Falken Tire, HRE wheels, Magnaflow exhaust, Royal Purple lubricants and detailed with Mothers polish. The new BILSTEIN B16 iRC shock absorber system provides outstanding performance and handling. Check out BILSTEIN’s Facebook page for photos of the build.
Immediately following the presentation of the BMW, BILSTEIN will introduce their revolutionary new iRidecontrol (iRC) mobile application that allows enthusiasts to tune their BILSTEIN B16 ridecontrol® shock absorbers using an iOS or Android-based smartphone. Live demonstrations of the exciting new iRC mobile application will be provided in the BILSTEIN booth #23361 in the Central Hall.
