NOVEMBER 3, 2011 - Live from the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada --- Michigan based emissions control technology firm, ACAT Global, today announced a brand new line of metallic catalytic converter substrates for automotive applications.

ACAT Global’s proprietary technology represents a new standard in emissions control and boasts a host
of benefits over ceramic and other competitive metal elements including increased particulate
degradation, better airflow, elemental longevity, superior thermal stability and form factor efficiency to
name a few.

The first two size profiles available immediately are “Small” (4.75" by 3.15") and “Large Oval” (5.70" by
3.20"). These sizes are 100% backward compatible with the two most popular ceramic aftermarket

with the advent of ACAT's proprietary Herringbone Pattern construction. In a 2" flow length unit, ACAT's
technology matches the active surface area of a 3" flow length ceramic unit,” comments Joe. “Both Small
and Large Oval form factors are available in standard sizing for use with a mat surrounding or in plus
sizing eliminating the mat surrounding whereby increasing substrate volume, face surface, and flow.”
