WD-40 Announces 2017 SEMA Show Project Car Build

WD-40 Co. is once again commissioning a vehicle build to showcase WD-40 brand products, be displayed at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, October 31–November 3, and ultimately be auctioned off through Barrett-Jackson to benefit SEMA Cares and ChildHelp.

Hot-Rod Products

Hot Rod Alley at the SEMA Show includes a mix of street rod, custom car and street-performance products and services pertaining to everything from classic ’30s vehicles to ‘70s musclecars and beyond. This diverse category showed growth for the third consecutive year at the SEMA Show. For 2016, the number of companies exhibiting in the hot rod segment grew 2% and occupied 4% more square footage on the Show floor than in the prior year.

Coleman Wins SEMA Battle of the Builders Young Guns Regional Award at AutoCon Los Angeles

Dylan Coleman became the first beneficiary of SEMA’s efforts this year to promote younger car builders through its 2017 SEMA Battle of the Builders Young Guns initiative when he won the Young Guns category at AutoCon Los Angeles on March 26.

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (May 31, 2017) – Builders with a car or truck on display at the 2017 SEMA Show, held Oct. 31-Nov. 3 in Las Vegas, may now enter the SEMA Battle of the Builders® competition by applying online at www.sema.org/botb.  The program recognizes and brings increased media exposure to top vehicle builders, their vehicles and the products that make the vehicles unique.
