ATTENDING THE SHOW ATTENDING THE SHOW Qualifying for Media Credentials: Media credentials are reserved exclusively for working members of the media, including print, broadcast, radio, or online. In order to maintain a B2B environment conducive for buyers and sellers to do business, media credentials are only available to media in the automotive industry or those that cover small businesses or another relevant topic. Bloggers, influencers and new media are welcomed and invited to apply for media credentials. Qualifying materials may be required to: Verify that the company is an editorial/media body that covers the SEMA industry, its members, or its products, and Verify that the applicant is associated with the company. Prior year's approval does not automatically qualify an individual for media credentials and updated qualifying materials may be required. Public relations and marketing personnel representing manufacturers do not qualify for media credentials, nor do video production companies representing exhibitors or those that solicit and charge companies to be covered. To learn more about other categories that might be applicable for public relations and marketing personnel to obtain Show access, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Approved individuals who abuse their media privileges or who misrepresent themselves or aid others in obtaining their media passes risk having their credentials revoked, and their names banned from attending the SEMA Show in future years. Keep in mind that as the SEMA Show approaches the approval process may be delayed, so we encourage media to apply for their credentials as soon as registration opens around May each year. For information about who qualifies for media credentials, visit Media faqs.
