Next to fuel, tires are the second leading operating expense for a fleet.  As a result, every trucking company wants to get as many miles as possible out of every new tire and subsequent retread.  When everything is right, the average radial truck tire can deliver more than 100,000 miles of service in most applications.  When something is wrong, irregular wear can cause a tire to be removed from service in a less than half that time.  This session will identify the most common types of irregular treadwear and provide the correction actions that must take place in order to avoid them.

Speaker: Kevin Rohlwing, Senior Vice President of Training, Tire Industry Association
