RD24 -  Last Call for Sellers

Presented by: David Roberts, FOCUS Investment Banking LLC

Consolidators have slowed down their acquisitions and accelerated their brownfield and greenfield shop openings.
David Roberts was the co-founder of Caliber Collision Centers along with Matthew Ohrnstein in 1995.  As the Chairman and head of Acquisition at Caliber he bought $135 mm in revenues and 37 shops.  Since then as the Automotive Group Practice Leader at FOCUS Investment Banking, he and his team have represented many MSOs and single shops in their sale to consolidators, larger MSOs and private equity firms.

David will describe the sale process for attendees and recap the prices paid over the past five years by size of MSO, multiples of EBITDA, percentage of sales as well as other metrics.  He will describe the players, their strategies, the hot markets, the cold markets, and make his own predictions about the future.

He will also talk about the consolidation of paint distributors who are experiencing even more rapid consolidation.

In a new era of consolidation, the only constant is change.  For more than 20 years, David has lived this change.  Be sure to grab the chance to talk with and learn from the M&A pioneer of the collision repair industry.
