For a few months now, Mishimoto has been aggressively searching for a 2015 EcoBoost Mustang for product development! They are extremely pleased to announce that the purchase has been made and product development has begun!
The Mishimoto team is extremely excited to get this car into the shop and begin tearing it down to develop a performance radiator, intercooler, oil cooler kit, etc.
Before stripping their 2015 Mustang, Mishimoto will be collecting a ton of images and video to provide their first impressions of the new model. This includes information regarding the 2015 Ford Mustang chassis, suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, interior, and of course the 2.3L EcoBoost. This is the first time the Mustang has been equipped with a turbo-four since the mid-eighties, and Mishimoto has a team full of automotive geeks itching for a drive in the new model.
Mishimoto has joined the fight to help end breast cancer with the launch of the Chilly Cares program! The women in our lives – our grandmothers, mothers, daughters, friends, and girlfriends – have always been there for us, and now it’s our turn to help them. For every product in our Chilly Cares program we will donate a portion of the sales to the American Cancer Society! Currently, we are sponsoring the chapter in West Palm Beach, Florida. BOWLING GREEN, KY - Quick Fuel Technology (QFT) is well known for its innovative high performance and racing carburetors, and most recently, for its show-winning Black Diamond heat-resistant coatings available on many of its carburetors and new QFI electronic fuel injection. To complete the package, QFT is offering a Black Diamond square bore, four-barrel intake manifold that fits '57-'86 (262-400cid) small block Chevy engines and those equipped with '87-'91 L98 Corvette aluminum cylinder heads (non-EGR applications). Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve with Snaps made by high quality aluminum foil fiberglass fabric and snap. Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve with Snaps is a flexible, aluminized, wrappable sleeve designed to protect components in high temperature areas. The outer aluminum finish is highly reflective while the inner layer of fiberglass greatly increases insulating efficiency.
This Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve with Snaps reflects more than 95% of the radiant energy that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables and hoses cool. Testing according to SAE-J2302 with a heat source of 480°C in 25 mm distance have shown temperature values on the protected component to be 40% lower than without protection.
Off and On Road Vehicles
The ev-Torque Box is a single forward speed reduction gearbox created specifically for the growing electric vehicle conversion market. It incorporates a compound planetary gear set available in several popular ratios, a ceramic ball bearing on the ultra high speed capable input shaft, has directed splash lubrication and runs a th400 style 32 spline output shaft that runs in a double (back to back) cone/cup bearing set. All of this is housed in a polished T6 - 6061 billet aluminum case and weighs only 32 lbs.

Torque Trends, Inc. of Surprise, AZ debuts their just converted product demo vehicle the e-Miata Roadster. This is a "plug in electric" or sometimes refered to as a "battery electric vehicle" (BEV) conversion created specifically for showing and demonstrating their newest gearbox the ev-Torque Box. The ev-Torque Box is being shown for the first time here at SEMA 2014 in the New Products Section of the show.
The e-Miata is a restoration, a customization and an electric conversion all rolled into one very fast Roadster. The 0 to 60 is 3.9 sec.
Lakeville, MN [October 28, 2014] – QA1 Precision Products, Inc., a leader in performance shocks, suspension components, rod ends and driveshafts, has expanded its offerings of suspension accessories to include additional T-bar conversion kits, extended upper eyelet conversion kits and piston rod bullets.
QA1’s ⅝” O.D. T-bar kit converts bearing eyelet type QA1 adjustable shocks to a bearing style T-bar mount. Available in 3” and 3.5” lengths, the T-bar kits include a zinc-plated ⅝” O.D. T-bar, two retaining c-clips, two ⅜” bolts, two ⅜” lock nuts and one specially designed QA1-exclusive ⅝” I.D. bearing. This new bearing style T-bar kit allows for higher levels of misalignment in applications where extreme suspension travel is seen. QA1 also offers ¾” T-bar kits for bushing style eyelets.

Proudly made in the USA, these 2 ½” I.D. high travel springs are manufactured from specially designed high-tensile, chrome silicon alloy spring wire, which allows them to have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter. As a result, these springs are lighter and have increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils.
“A lighter spring reduces unsprung weight and reacts faster, optimizing suspension performance,” said Dan Voight, QA1’s Motorsports Sales Manager.
In addition, this high-grade material, along with careful heat-treating and post-processing, allows for greatly improved fatigue life, and the coil design allows the springs to be compressed to coil-bind without affecting spring rate or free height.
