Avon Lake, Ohio (October 28, 2015)…Passing fireproofing inspection for any USAC Quarter Midget race is now easier with DEI’s newly introduced Quarter Midget Fuel Line Kit. Fireproofing fuel lines became mandatory for all USAC Quarter Midget racing in 2014. This new kit from DEI meets all fuel line fireproofing requirements as identified in the 2015 USAC rule book for Quarter Midget class racing. It also provides added security and protection for racers from a potential fire in the engine compartment.
The kit includes 1.5’ of 3/8” ID silicone covered, glass braided sleeving rated to a maximum temperature of 520°F for 136 hours, 4 heat shrink sleeves to secure the sleeving, and 2 DEI brand decals. The sleeving is sufficient to cover the fuel line on any Quarter Midget car.

Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaw’s Farmtruck and AZN Takeover Energy Suspension’s Booth during SEMA 2015
Energy Suspension is excited to announce it will be hosting Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws racers Farmtruck and AZN for several autograph sessions in the Energy Suspension booth in the Central Hall (Booth no. 23567) during the 2015 SEMA Show. They will be signing Team Energy/FNA posters in the booth from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4; 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5; and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
Farmtruck and AZN are best known as the driver and co-pilot of the race-equipped 1970 Chevy long-bed truck featured in the Street Outlaws series. This ultimate sleeper was recently outfitted with a custom 632 big-block Chevy motor built by Advanced Engine Machine and has run Energy Suspension polyurethane components well before its television debut in 2013. This well-known Chevy pickup will also be on display in Energy Suspension’s booth during the show and will participate in the SEMA Ignited Cruise, the Official SEMA Show after-party on Friday.
NorthStar Battery (www.northstarbattery.com) has unveiled the new SMS-AGM480 and SMS-AGM80 products to celebrate four new world records set at the United States Autosound Competition International (USACI) Texas Heatwave event held earlier this year.
Jake Jesty, Amos Williams and Craig Meaux from Team Dip-Tex out of Texas, and Chris Russ from North Dakota, all set world records thanks to the unbeatable performance of their NorthStar Batteries.
Chris hit 163.4Db in the Street Beat 4 Outlaw class and 147.5Db in the Xtreme 4 Midwest SPL class. He uses a whopping 11 NorthStar NSB-AGM31 Batteries to power his monster system.
Jake recorded 153.7Db in the Street Beat 5 Outlaw class using 4 NorthStar SMS-AGM400s. Amos also reached 153.7Db in the Stock 0-1800 Outlaw class with 2 NorthStar NSB-AGM31s. Craig hit 148.5Db in the Street Beat 2 Legal class using 4 NorthStar SMS-AGM200s.

In the process of doing this new technologies that make the full electrification or hybridization of custom cars easier has been developed and opened new opportunities for custom car builders.
The Immortus – a car that takes the technology of current solar racers (from the World Solar Challenge) that currently race across contents around the world at the edge of legal speed limits and brings it to a street legal sports car. WELD Will Host a Variety of Racing Celebrities and Unveil Over a Dozen New Wheel Designs at 2015 SEMA Show
Kansas City, Mo. – Located at booth 25125 in the Central Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, WELD will have a strong presence at the 2015 SEMA Show from Nov. 3-6 as they unveil many new products and host a variety of racing celebrities.
“We are excited to greet customers and prospects at our new location within the Racing and Performance Hall at SEMA,” said WELD president and CEO Norm Young. “We will unveil over a dozen new wheel designs at SEMA from our Racing, Street and Strip, and Rekon lines. In addition, our newest division, CCW Forged Performance, will showcase its new Daytona Series of Wheels.”
Melbourne-based EVX Ventures has announced that the electric vehicle technology company will be testing and deploying their hybrid retrofit kit technology on the current Hyundai i30 and Toyota Corolla in co-operation with a Queensland-based company called Renew Fleet. A spin off company from diesel aftermarket specialist Roo Systems, Renew Fleet provides cost effective solutions for commercial fleets to reduce fuel and operating costs, while reducing the carbon footprint.
Derived from the research and development of EVX’s the Immortus solar sports car concept, the hybrid retrofit kit will be designed to be a simple, cost effective “bolt on” aftermarket product, enabling current petrol cars to be converted from being petrol powered to plug-in hybrid.
