Models/ TV Hosts Sarah Schreiber and Casey O'Keefe Talk Hand Protection and Glove Use

Adenna Inc. (SEMA booth #10369), a global supplier of high quality disposable gloves since 1997, will release a series of professionally filmed videos about hand protection and proper glove use for auto mechanics.

These one of a kind videos are hosted by models, actors and TV hosts, Sarah Schreiber and Casey O'Keefe. They are filmed at the SEMA Garage facility in Southern California. Topics include handling chemicals with nitrile gloves, the differences between latex and nitrile gloves, proper glove use, glove selection and much more. These videos range from 1.5 minutes to less than 3 minutes long, and were filmed in interesting formats and settings to highly engage the audience.

(Pleasanton, CA) The Goodguys 2016 event schedule is official! Twenty electric events spanning the country are on tap for the 2016 event season highlighted by the BIGGIE – the Goodguys 19th PPG Nationals, July 10-12 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. The East Coast Nationals returns to its original home - the scenic Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York, June 10-12. The 5th Nostalgia Nationals at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky will be held October 14-16 moving it deeper into the fall as it was from 2007-2010. The Goodguys West Coast Nationals celebrates its 30th birthday in Pleasanton, August 26-28. Another big change is the awarding of Goodguys 2016 Tank’s Hot Rod of the Year. The signature award for ’48 and older hot rods will be selected at the 11th Nashville Nationals May 13-15 at Nissan Stadium – home of the Tennessee Titans.


ATLANTA – E-commerce continues to accelerate in the automotive aftermarket industry. New research shows that 56% of online automotive parts and accessories shoppers are making their purchases online – an 8% increase over the previous year. The study also indicates that consumers are combining online and in-store channels for an omnichannel shopping experience. Omnichannel is when shoppers seamlessly shift between mobile, online and in-store resources to research, purchase, pick up and return their items.

The findings are from the annual UPS (NYSE:UPS) “What’s Driving the Automotive Parts Online Shopper” study.*

BFGoodrich® Tires Challenges SEMA Members To Baja Pit Crew Challenge

BFGoodrich® Tires, a brand known for throwing dirt in the desert with its racing program, is bringing a taste of Baja to SEMA with its first ever Pit Crew Challenge.

This one-of-a-kind event, held outside in the BFGoodrich location in the Silver Lot, will run from Tuesday through Thursday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Teams of two participants will compete against the clock, and each other, by conducting a controlled pit stop and testing their skills in changing BFGoodrich race tires and simulating a fuel stop on a SCORE Baja 1000 Class 10 buggy.

Each day the team with the fastest time will win a set of BFGoodrich Tires and one lucky team selected at random will be rewarded with a trip to the 2016 Bud Light Baja 500 as guests of BFGoodrich Tires.

The event will also feature BFGoodrich Performance Team members serving as judges and time keepers as well as participants. Registration is open and can be submitted online at

DEI Introduces Quarter Midget Fuel Line Kit

Avon Lake, Ohio (October 28, 2015)…Passing fireproofing inspection for any USAC Quarter Midget race is now easier with DEI’s newly introduced Quarter Midget Fuel Line Kit. Fireproofing fuel lines became mandatory for all USAC Quarter Midget racing in 2014. This new kit from DEI meets all fuel line fireproofing requirements as identified in the 2015 USAC rule book for Quarter Midget class racing. It also provides added security and protection for racers from a potential fire in the engine compartment.

The kit includes 1.5’ of 3/8” ID silicone covered, glass braided sleeving rated to a maximum temperature of 520°F for 136 hours, 4 heat shrink sleeves to secure the sleeving, and 2 DEI brand decals. The sleeving is sufficient to cover the fuel line on any Quarter Midget car.
