Driven offers two versions of Storage Defender for gasoline engines (one formulated for fuel and one for oil) to combat corrosion and degradation that occurs at an accelerated pace during prolonged periods of storage. Both products feature special corrosion-inhibitors and anti-oxidants that work to counteract the damaging effects of moisture buildup from the hydroscopic characteristics of Ethanol-blended fuel and from chemical decay. In addition, the Gasoline Additive stabilizes the fuel as well as cleans existing deposits on intake valves, fuel injectors, carburetors and in the combustion chamber. Lincolnshire, IL - October 28, 2016 - One of the most iconic period and drag racing stories of life in the 1960's was George Lucas' movie "American Graffiti", which stands out as one of those films that captures earlier times well remembered. One of the heroic moments in the film is the final drag race between a '32 Ford Deuce Coupe and a '55 Chevy Bel-Air Hard Top (driven by Harrison Ford's character).

Since its introduction to the marketplace, the 1955 second generation Tri-Five Bel-Air was advertised as the "Hot One" in GM's ad campaigns. BlackDog Speed Shop is a custom builder, racing and motorsports shop located in Lincolnshire, IL. For their 2016 SEMA project, the company found a Tri-Five in decent condition and then put the BlackDog Speed team to work.

CLARENCE, NY, October 27 -- SSBC has developed a dead soft brake line that can be bent with your hands and is still strong enough to hold brake line pressures. Many cars have been modified and pre-bent line will not work, so modifying stock lines are a must. This is a great time to replace lines and bend them from straight sticks. With stainless lines and fittings, this will be the last time you’ll ever have to replace your lines. But what about Ni-cop lines, don’t the do the same thing? Ni-cop lines are plated lines but still have steel fittings. So, rust occurs at the fittings regardless, and removal or replacement is going to be needed. With SSBC lines, everything is stainless.

CLARENCE, NY, October 27 -- With 12 different styles of forged master cylinders and 12 different cap styles, you can customize the master cylinder to match the valve cover on your car. The ugliest thing under the hood is the master cylinder, but not any more. SSBC has forged an aluminum master cylinder that handles over 4000 psi and can be finished just the way you like. The master cylinders are available in popular muscle car and street rod applications. Finishes are available in clear, black nickel and polished. SSBC offers the same finishes for the caps and also has plain, finned and ball milled styles. These caps match most of the aluminum valve covers.
“These new finishes and styles finish the look under the hood. Master cylinders go from ugly to matching. SSBC has developed a caliper that delivers that “whoa” in 15 inch wheels. Eight large stainless steel pistons are used to put maximum clamping pressure behind a C5 Corvette pad. Modern pad material—with massive clamping—controls stopping power. SSBC uses 11.8” x 1.25” thick rotors to handle heat disappation.
