Keeping the pressure under control with the digital SATA adam 2

The accurate and correct setting of the gun inlet pressure is one of the key requirements to ensure perfect color match during the painting process. Whether the pressure is set too low or too high, color deviations will be the undesired result. The consequences are unnecessary rework disrupting the efficient work flow. "Incorrect inlet pressure" can be prevented by using SATA digital spray guns or the accessories SATA adam 2 and SATA adam 2 U.
The SATA adam 2 is the compact retrofit solution for SATA spray guns: It consists of two components: The SATA adam 2 dock replaces the air micrometer of the spray gun, allowing quick and precise adjustment of the spray gun inlet pressure. The second component, the SATA adam 2 display, is safely fitted to the "dock" by a simple sliding action and can be removed in no time at all – for example before cleaning the spray gun in a gun washing machine or to use the "display" on another spray gun with pre-mounted "dock".

Dan-Am Air®Advanced Aluminum Air Pipe System

Today’s clean air requirements are more critical than ever. Air tools, blow driers, HVLP spray guns, and supplied air respirators may require more air volume and better air quality than needed in the past. Not only does clean air effect equipment performance, but it is also critical for paint coatings performance. Dan-Am Air, along with SATA filtration can solve all of these issues.
Dan-Am Air is lightweight, aircraft grade, powder coated aluminum, which provides clean, dry air up to 232 psi. The reinforced composite Nylon fittings have dual seals, which rest on un-scraped pipe, providing a leak free guarantee. Our Press-to-Connect fittings feature a full bore design for turbulence free air delivery. This quick, instant connection eliminates the need to thread, solder or glue, accounting for far less installation times than traditional copper or black pipe.

Introducing the SATA® trueSun the daylight solution

The selection of the correct color shade for refinishing a vehicle requires a source of light that preferably reproduces the entire color range of visible light (daylight) as accurately as possible. The SATA® trueSunTM LED lamp which was especially designed for this purpose allows a quick and precise professional color shade evaluation and identification within the paint shop.
Accurate color retrieval, correct application of metallic paints or special effect materials, and detecting critical mottling or other surface imperfections are playing a crucial role in the car refinish application process. A new high-precision LED module, especially developed with SATA, offers a true reproduction of the daylight to enable reliable color identification inside the body shop and help prevent expensive mistakes and high rework costs.
