MILWAUKEE – The new BOLT® J-MountTM bracket mounting system allows Jeep TJ and JK off-road enthusiasts to securely attach their hi-lift jack to the side of their vehicle for easy, vertical access.
To protect this critical Jeep accessory, the J-Mount features the one-key convenience of BOLT lock technology, which permanently programs the lock to the Jeep owner’s vehicle ignition key, eliminating the need for extra keys. Once the ignition key is inserted into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down and the first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key. An auto-return spring locks automatically when the key is removed.

Our High Steer Top Mount Draglink has a Patent Pending ‘Reverse Taper Mount” that bolts right to the factory knuckle without the need of modifying the knuckle. This assures strength from the wheels to steering gear and makes installation a lot easier.
We also applied our “Reverse Pin” ball joint technology on our rod ends to prevent the linkage from flopping or rocking on those nasty washboard type roads. Our 30mm ball joints, with improved induction hardening, are the largest and strongest ever assembled in a Wrangler steering linkage.

Bosch releases Esitronic Truck, its first heavy-duty truck all makes/all models scan tool for North America
Bosch has released Esitronic Truck, its first North American heavy-duty (HD) truck scan. Esitronic Truck covers all major HD truck, MD truck, engine, transmission, and brake system combinations with diagnostics and embedded repair information. Esitronic Truck will offer a solution to independent repair shops and fleets seeking a single scan tool for all their HD and medium duty trucks.
“For years there has not been an all-encompassing tool in the HD aftermarket that gives technicians what they need – all makes/models diagnostics coverage combined with repair information,” said Matt Stein, Bosch Automotive Service Solutions senior product manager of electronics, heavy-duty diagnostics and direct-test electronics. “Esitronic Truck is that and more, aligning repair info with testing to saving repair time and overall costs. It fills a direct need in the market.”
Bosch launches its first-ever performance gauges line in North America with responsive design website
Bosch announces the launch of the company’s first-ever performance gauge line, bringing contemporary style and design to tachometers, pressure, temperature, hour meters, gauge cases and accessories. Available at most automotive retailers, Bosch will offer analog gauges in 2-inch sizes for restoration, custom projects or direct replacements. The gauges line is accompanied by a new, responsive design website, www.Boschperformance.com, highlighting the gauges and accessories for custom applications.
“As car owners continue customizing and putting personal touches on their vehicles, custom gauges are one of the easiest ways to make a difference in the look and feel of the vehicle’s interior,” said Paul Zentkovich, Bosch product manager. “Our customers have been asking for the Bosch look and style in their gauges, and we’re excited to provide that little piece of artwork they proudly display in their vehicles’ instrument cluster.”
Expanding on its position as a market leader in providing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, Bosch Automotive Service Solutions has announced the Power DCPlus DC fast charger in North America, starting at under $10,000. Using the SAE J1772 DC Combo connector, the 24kW Bosch Power DCPlus will charge compatible EVs to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes. The station has been approved by General Motors and can be ordered through GM’s Dealer Equipment Program.
By offering a 24kW DC Fast Charger, Bosch has positioned its Power DCPlus as a high-value, physically smaller alternative to larger, more ex-pensive 50kW options while still dramatically improving charging times versus Level 2 AC charging stations. By complying with the SAE J1772 DC Combo standard, Bosch has aligned with most major automakers of-fering EV’s with DC fast-charging capabilities.
Actron launches upgraded scan tool line alongside its first-ever e-commerce website with responsive design
Actron has launched a redesigned and upgraded North American line of DIY scan tools along with a new, responsive design website with integrated e-commerce. In addition to being the brand’s first e-commerce responsive design website, Actron will be selling older inventory direct to consumers, offering steep discounts on popular DIY test & tune items.
The new scan line, featuring larger screens, updated vehicle coverage through model year 2013, OBD II and OEM-specific codes and definitions, brings near-professional coverage to the retail market. All Actron scanners include updated model year coverage through 2013; global OBD II read/erase codes; and ABS codes and definitions for GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Hyundai vehicles.
Robinair announces more efficient and accurate diagnostic-capable AC recovery machine lines in North America
With an improvement to 98.5 percent efficiency, Robinair announces two new more efficient, accurate and faster AC recovery machines in the North American market. The new machines feature the same enclosure currently being used in Robinair’s new AC1234-6 YF recovery machine, allows for a tighter packaging of all interior components to reduce the machine’s footprint in the shop while adding new features, more memory and flash storage for vehicle info.
“Already the most efficient in the industry at 95 percent, we’re focused on improving our machines in any way possible,” said Tim Wagaman, Robinair Product Manager. “Our improvements include allowing communication with optional refrigerant identifiers, USB data sharing and a larger display designed to make the machine easier to use and faster while in use.”
OTC has released a set of synthetic body tools, designed especially for use on aluminum panels. In order to reduce weight and achieve higher fuel economy, many high-volume vehicles are using aluminum in body components. This creates a potential challenge and opportunity for collision repair shops to be prepared with the necessary tools and equipment for aluminum panel removal and replacement. Special hand tools made from synthetic material have great shock absorption qualities, greatly reducing the risk of marring, scratching or gouging panels.
