Visit the New Products Showcase to discover more than 3,000 of the latest exhibitor products displayed in one location on the Skybridge of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Use the SEMA Show mobile app's "Product Scanner" feature to scan and download product photos and exhibitor information that will remain on your SEMA Show app long after the 2020 show has ended.

SEMA Show also offers free scanners available at designated booths in the showcase. After you have scanned the latest products, make your way to the "Scanner Return" desk and instantly receive a printout of all the products you scanned.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Gentlemen, Start Your Scanners...

ATTENDEES:Head on over to the New Products Showcase, located in the Sky Bridge. There is a shuttle stop very close to the showcase. Find one of the "Free Scanner Pickup" booths located around the showcase.

EXHIBITORS: Want to feature your products in the New Products Showcase? Head on over to the registration form and get your products signed up! If you didn't already know, your first product registration is free – so there's really no excuse NOT to.

Step 2: Scan It Like You Stole It

ATTENDEES: Walk around and scan all the products you're interested in. This is your shot to research all the new products our exhibiting companies offer, and it's all in one place. There's no limit, go crazy!

Step 3: Drop It Like It's Hot

ATTENDEES: Return your scanner to the "Scanner Return" desk to instantly get a print out of all the products you scanned! This print-out will contain key information on how to locate and contact the exhibitors who manufacture the products you're interested in.

strong>EXHIBITORS: Deliver your products onsite at the SEMA Show during the New Products Showcase check-in hours (see: Rules & Regs). During this time you can choose the optional UPS Ship-Home service.

Online Registration

The online registration site includes comprehensive information for international visitors. A designated "International Resources" under the "Attendees" tab features basic information about the Show in seven different languages. An "International Travel Support" tab is also available at www.semashow.com/register to connect visitors from key countries to travel information specific to their location. The online registration form allows international buyers to seamlessly generate personalized Letters of Invitations that can be used for requesting visas. Click here to access show registration.

Badge Pickup

International visitors are able to pick up their badges on-site at International Registration, where interpreters are on hand ready to assist.

Center for International Commerce (CIC)

Centrally located within the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Center for International Commerce (CIC) is a valuable resource for SEMA Show exhibitors and international buyers. SEMA international staff will be on hand at the CIC, as will a team of interpreters to assist in bilingual communication in key languages that include Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese . Complimentary private meeting rooms, lounge areas, and complimentary Wi-Fi are also available in the CIC.

Networking International Happy Hour

SEMA CRUISE

Attend the SEMA Cruise Friday, November 6. See more than 1,500 of the coolest vehicles on the planet in an organized parade exit the convention center at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The sights and sounds are something you'll never forget.

SEMA IGNITED

Friday, November 6 — 3:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. - Attendees will have the opportunity to view hundreds of customized rides featuring the newest and most innovative products from the SEMA Show. The event also includes food, music, drift demonstrations, celebrities and the culmination of the SEMA Battle of the Builders competition, which includes more than 250 competitors vying for the title of the ultimate vehicle builder.
Admission to SEMA Ignited is $20; tickets can be purchased at www.semaignited.com or at the box office in the Platinum Lot of the Las Vegas Convention Center on November 6.

No. The SEMA Show is not open to the general public. The SEMA Show is a trade-only event, only qualified individuals employed within the automotive aftermarket industry are approved to receive a badge to enter the exhibit hall.

The following business categories do not qualify to attend:

  • Accounting firms
  • Consumers
  • Financial services/advisors/brokers/banks
  • Freight providers
  • Graphics companies (non-automotive)
  • Exhibition industry service companies
  • Insurance agents
  • Law firms
  • Modeling agents/agencies
  • Packaging companies
  • Printers
  • Promotional products companies
  • Software companies (non-automotive specific)
  • Travel agencies
  • Any non-automotive company

Those who do not qualify to attend the SEMA Show are invited to SEMA Ignited, the official SEMA Show After-Party where SEMA Show vehicles and excitement will be featured on Friday night upon conclusion of the Show. To purchase SEMA Ignited tickets, visit www.semaignited.com.

You must supply documentation that you work in the specialty-equipment market such as:

  • Business card, with company name, job title and address corresponding with information provided on your registration
  • Business license
  • Tax registration certificate or business registration
  • Recent paycheck stub 
  • Business photo ID (must include company name, photo and your name).

Basically, you need to prove that your business or the employer you work for is a current and legitimate automotive aftermarket business. 
If you registered and were approved for last year's Show and have not changed company, job title or contact information—such as your telephone number, address or email—you may not be required to show proof of involvement in the automotive aftermarket industry again. The SEMA Show is a trade-only industry event; it is not open to consumers or the general public. If you are an exhibitor, member of the media, or an employee of a company that is qualified to attend the 2020 SEMA Show, you can register for the Show at www.semashow.com/register .
2020 Show registration is now closed, and will re-open in the Spring. Please visit online at www.semashow.com. Select "ATTEND SHOW" in the Attendees box in the center of the screen, and follow the prompts to be alerted via email when registration opens.

There are several options available for obtaining new product information. One of the easiest ways is to visit the New Products Showcase at the SEMA Show. At the New Products Showcase, buyers and media can use the SEMA Show app to select the products you wish to learn more about. This information will remain in your Show app to reference throughout the year. Additionally, you can still check out a scanner to select items then receive a print-out and email, including photos as well as links to high-res photos of the products that can be downloaded.

Tickets for the special events and educational sessions are available when registering for the Show. If you have already registered and would like to order special-event tickets, simply follow the instructions and shortcut link in your registration confirmation e-mail.
Registration for the 2020 SEMA Show is now closed and will re-open in spring 2020. Visit www.semashow.com. Select "Attend Show" in the "Attendees" menu in the center of the screen, and follow the prompts to be alerted via email when registration opens.

This end of show celebration is available to the general public for an admission fee of $20 SEMA Ignited is the official SEMA Show after-party, where consumers are welcome to join the industry on Friday, November 6, from 3:00 p.m.–10:00 .pm. Taking place at the Platinum Lot on Swenson Street across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center, the event will include vehicles from the SEMA Show, music, food, drifting demonstrations, entertainment and more.

No. Badges CANNOT be reproduced, transferred or resold. All AAPEX and SEMA Show attendees and exhibiting personnel must be prepared to provide a matching government-issued photo ID upon request. Show management reserves the right to refuse admission and revoke your badge at any time. If it is discovered you are allowing someone else to use your badge, that person will be escorted from the Show floor and both of you may not be allowed to attend a future Show.

Yes. Your badge allows you entrance into the Westgate Exhibits as well.

No one under the age of 16, including infants, is allowed access to the exhibits. No exceptions. Show management does not provide childcare services on-site. Use of a school-issued ID to prove age is not acceptable unless it provides a date of birth.

Drones/UAVs of any kind are NOT allowed at the SEMA Show or at the Las Vegas Convention Center due to the proximity to McCarran International Airport. Drones/UAVs will be confiscated until Show end (after the SEMA Cruise).

The use of the above items are NOT allowed on the Las Vegas Convention Center property, this includes the Silver Lot, Platinum Lot as well as roadways and walkways within the Las Vegas Convention Center campus. This includes all non-ADA-approved mobility devices. These devices are subject to confiscation and returned at the end of the Show (following the SEMA Cruise).

Business or business casual attire is suggested. Logos and sayings on apparel must be in good taste. Show Management reserves the right to make determinations on appropriate apparel.

No. The company you are employed by does not have to be a SEMA member in order for you to attend the SEMA Show, but you do have to hold a qualified position and work within the automotive industry. The SEMA Show registration process requires you to provide proof that you work within the automotive industry.

No. Even if you are a member of SEMA, you will still need to be qualified to attend the SEMA Show. The same qualification process will apply to members as it does to non-members.

If a company qualifies to exhibit in a booth space at the Show, but chooses not to exhibit, wishing only to register employees to attend (walk the exhibits), they will be classified as an NEM. If during the qualification process, Show Management finds the company to be classified as a Non-Exhibiting Company (NEM), a higher registration fee of $200 each will be required to register. Non-exhibiting companies are limited to registering two people, attending no more than two shows.

Fireworks, firearms, explosives, and weapons of all kinds, including replicas are prohibited in all premises of the AAPEX and the SEMA Shows. This prohibition applies to interior and exterior Show facilities, including parking areas and also prohibits weapons in or on any vehicles or displays. Violations of this policy can result in the violator being banned from the Shows and Show facilities.

You may register on-site using a paper registration form, but depending upon the day and time you arrive, the lines for new, on-site registration may be lengthy. You will also need to present your qualifying documentation and a government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's license). If you do not have this paperwork with you, you will not be able to complete registration.

The SEMA Show is a trade-only industry event; it is not open to consumers or the general public. If you are an exhibitor, member of the media or an employee of a company that is qualified to attend the 2020 SEMA Show, you can register for the Show at www.semashow.com/register. Online attendee registration is $40 USD per person until Friday, October 9. After that date, attendee registration online or onsite increases to $90 USD per person. Attendee badges allow entrance to both APPEX and the SEMA Show all days of each Show. (Note: AAPEX exhibits are not open on Friday, November 8, but the SEMA exhibits are open on Friday.) Registering exhibiting personnel in excess of your company's complimentary allotment pre-show is $40 USD per person. After, Thursday, October 29, exhibitor badges ordered online or onsite in excess of your company's complimentary allotment are $90 USD per person. Non-Exhibiting Company (NEM) registration is $200 per person online or on-site, and is limited to two people from each company for no more than two years. Participants who have a featured vehicle in the Show, must register onsite for $40 USD each and are limited to two badges.

Registration is located in the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hotel) adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), and is open the following hours:

  • Thursday, October 29: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (exhibitors only)
  • Friday, October 30: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (exhibitors only)
  • Saturday, October 31: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (exhibitors only)

The deadline for domestic attendees to pre-register is October 9, 2020. After that date, you may still register online, but your badge will not be mailed. You will need to print out and bring to the show your barcode confirmation. Visit the Express Registration desk at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center; present your photo ID, and your badge will be printed out. International exhibitors', media (including exhibiting media) and Non-Exhibiting Company (NEM) badges are not mailed and must be picked up on-site upon presenting an official, government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's license).

When is the last day for me to register online and still receive my badge in the mail? The deadline is September 11, 2020. Media (including exhibiting media) and Non-Exhibiting Companies (NEM) must pick up their badges on-site.

If you haven't begun the registration process, go to www.SEMAShow.com and choose "Attend Show." On the registration profile page, click on "need a visa letter." If you have already registered and received a confirmation (but did not request a visa letter), access your dashboard through the confirmation e-mail and click on "edit profile" on the dashboard. Once inside your profile page, click on "edit" again and click on "need visa."
You must register before the visa letter can be sent, and the letter may only be made for the individual's name and company name in his or her registration record. Invite letters are sent via email instantaneously as a bounce back to the email address you provide during registration. Emailed, printed-out copies of the visa letter are acceptable. Show Management no longer prepares and express-mails abroad personalized letters because originals of visa invite letters are no longer required. The bounce-back, emailed invitation letter is sufficient. It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of any government visa requirements and allow sufficient time for the visa entry application process. Attendees and exhibitors should contact their nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing and requirements related to their visa application. SEMA will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Any and all costs associated with applying for a visa are the sole responsibility of the attendee or exhibitor in need of the letter.

Badges will begin mailing in mid-August and will continue to be mailed until September 15, as long as registration is completed by September 21. If you register after September 21, you must pick up your badge at the on-site Will Call desk. Media (including exhibiting media) and Non-Exhibiting Companies (NEM) must pick up their badges on-site.

You will receive confirmation by e-mail with your identification number. You can also determine your registration status online at "registration look-up" at www.semashow.com/register.

Use your confirmation e-mail to click through to the dashboard and click on "Add another." Note that each person may be required to provide qualification materials.

If you were denied registration, it may be because you are listed in the system as a member of one of the categories that SEMA/AAPEX does NOT permit to attend, or you did not provide the correct paperwork requested. In that case, e-mail regmgr@sema.org with your name, company and website. You will be contacted and given the opportunity to explain your situation. Or, if you would prefer to speak with someone directly, contact SEMA Show Management at 909-396-0289.

After you register, the system will ask you if you wish to register another attendee, or a spouse. You can register your legal spouse at that time. If you have completed your registration and want to add a spouse at a later date, use the link in your confirmation to return to the dashboard and click on "Add a Spouse."

No. There are no guest or complimentary passes, tickets, and/or badges for the SEMA Show. Other than a legal spouse, everyone must register and be approved to receive a badge. The SEMA Show is a trade industry-only event. It is not open to consumers or the general public. Guests do not qualify to receive a badge.

Domestic (U.S. and Canadian) ATTENDEE and EXHIBITOR badges will be mailed out beginning mid-August and will continue to be mailed until October 16, 2020, as long as registration is completed by October 16, 2020. If you register after October 16, 2020, you must print out and bring your barcode confirmation to Express Registration on-site at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Upon presenting an official, government-issued photo ID that matches the name in your registration record, your badge will be printed out. International ATTENDEE badges cannot be mailed after September 21, 2020. International exhibitors', media (including exhibiting media) and Non-Exhibiting Company (NEM) badges are not mailed and must be picked up on-site upon presenting an official, government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's license).

Badges must be worn at all times in the AAPEX and the SEMA Show areas.

No. Neither Show Management nor Customer Service can take your information over the phone. No exceptions. You must register on-line or in person onsite, complete the registration form, and provide payment as well as any documents required to prove you are qualified to receive a badge for our show.

No. One badge allows you entrance to both the SEMA and AAPEX Shows. Please note the AAPEX Show is located at the Sands Expo Center and is not open on Friday, November 6. The AAPEX Show is only open Tuesday–Thursday, November 3–5. See www.AAPEXShow.com for more information on their event.

The fee for reprinting a non-exhibiting company (NEM) badge is $200 per badge. You may not have anyone else's badge reprinted onsite but your own. You will need to present an official, government-issued photo ID (like a passport or driver's license) that must match the name in your registration record. Go to the registration desks at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino to pay the fee and have your badge reprinted.

No. Registration fees are non-refundable. No credits or refunds for registration fees will be provided. No exceptions. Note: Failure to obtain a visa in advance of the Show does not constitute a valid basis for a refund.

If you pre-registered your spouse to attend this year's AAPEX and the SEMA Show—and you did so by Friday, October 9, 2020—his or her spouse badge will be mailed to you with your badge pre-show. However, beginning this year , YOUR SPOUSE'S BADGE IS NO LONGER MAILED IN A BADGE HOLDER. Upon arrival on-site, your spouse will need to bring his or her badge to the Pre-Registered Spouse Badge Holder Pick-Up desk and present a matching, government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's license). Badge holders will not be given out without verification. Badges without a holder will not be allowed into the exhibit halls. Lost or forgotten badges may be subject to a $100 per badge replacement fee onsite.

When Show Management* scans your badge, your personal information is processed pursuant to Show Management's legitimate interest in tracking attendance, traffic flow, and providing a better Show for attendees. By allowing vendors/exhibitors to scan your badge, all registration information you provided to Show Management during the registration process is shared with them. Vendors/exhibitors may then contact you regarding their goods or services. Please review their privacy policies for additional information. If you do not want to share your information, do not permit the vendor/exhibitor to scan your badge. If you do not want to receive communications from a vendor, you must contact that vendor/exhibitor directly.
