DEI Introduces Professional Grade Military Spec Hi-Temp Shrink Tubes
AVON LAKE, OH…DEI’s professional grade Hi-Temp Shrink Tubes, made of military spec polyolefin tubing with a high shrink ratio of 3:1, offers the ultimate protection for ignition and electrical wiring, and are ideal for sealing electrical connections. Other uses include bundling wire, hose and cable, all types of wire repair, or any form of splicing or termination.
Designed as an alternative to plastic ties and tape, these Hi-Temp Shrink Tubes have a thick wall structure and are made of material that meets Military spec DTL-23053/5C for a water tight, flame retardant seal that is resistant to debris, dirt and abrasive solvents. Offering a clean professional look, they are flexible and easy to install.
These high quality insulators can be used wherever water, dirt or other debris could adversely affect performance in marine, automotive, and powersports applications. Hi-Temp Shrink Tubes’ thick wall construction remains flexible and has a working temperature range of -67°F (-55°C) to 275°F (135°C) with a maximum operating temperature of 394°F (201°C) during short durations up to 60 minutes.
Multiple lengths and ID sizes are available including 2 and 4 ft. lengths, 50 ft. and 200 ft. spools, in ID sizes: 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm.
