K&N Engineering Launches New Product – Blackhawk Induction Systems
Riverside, CA, June, 18, 2013 – K&N Engineering, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of washable performance air filters and performance air intakes proudly announces the launch of its newest product, Blackhawk Induction Systems.
Designed for select muscle cars, SUVs and trucks this black on black induction system not only looks impressive under the hood, but is designed to reduce restriction and improve air flow while providing outstanding filtration to protect the engine. Each K&N Blackhawk air intake design has undergone rigorous testing and the resulting power and torque gains have been impressive.
Made in Riverside, CA Blackhawk induction systems start with lightweight aluminum tubing that is cut and shaped to precise specifications. The aluminum tube surface is then carefully worked to remove any rough edges or metal burs and a K&N engraved metal plate is welded in to place. Finally, the Blackhawk intake tubes are powder coated with a durable flat black finish. All Blackhawk air intakes use a Black Dryflow Synthetic Washable Air Filter with thick low restriction filter media that protects the engine without the need of oil.
Like other K&N products, the Blackhawk air intake is easy to install using common tools and existing factory mounting points when possible and comes equipped with all the hardware necessary for installation. Installation on most vehicles can be completed in 90 minutes or less. Additionally, the Blackhawk air intake system comes with K&N’s Million Mile Limited Warranty.
Blackhawk air intakes are not legal for highway use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Visit KNFilters.com to see the up-to-date status of each air intake and vehicle application and to see a list of other CARB adoption states.
