Mantic Engineering invites you to attend the Mantic Clutch media conference at SEMA on Thursday the 7th of November 2013 at 8am, Media Room N113, SEMA Show 2013. Chris Hatton, President of Mantic Engineering, will be on hand to discuss the basis upon which Mantic Products are sold and marketed and the stories certainly an interesting one.

Chris will discuss how Mantic’s unique ER2 product feature, patented in the United States, actually allows their clutch to produce the highest torque capacity in its class. In addition Chris will show how Mantic's twin disc clutches drive like standard and still manage to carry incredible levels of torque.

Chris will guide you through an informative and dynamic audiovisual presentation outlining the engineering, design and marketing capabilities of the organization, capabilities that have lead to the growth of Mantic Engineering. In addition information will be presented which relates to the future of clutch development, the potential impact these designs will have on the aftermarket and in particular the performance segment of the market. This presentation will be sure to provide a greater understanding of new technologies in automotive clutch design, including the revolutionary Radial Damper Clutch Disc (RDC) design, under development by CI, which will make many current clutch technologies obsolete.

Chris, who is also the President of Clutch Industries Pty Ltd (CI) Australia’s Largest Clutch Manufacturer and the parent company of Mantic Engineering, will also introduce the company’s new e-commerce trading platform and marketing programme for 2013 /14.

So where do these guys come from? For most, Mantic is the international face of CI however for many may not be aware that CI is a full service Clutch Manufacturer based in Australia, which manufactures Clutch kits, clutch cover assemblies, clutch plates and flywheels and has done so for more than 60 years.

And then there’s the question of who’s Chris Hatton? Well, Chris has spent the majority of this career working within the Automotive Industry and has been fortunate to obtain experience in many aspects of general management with an initial emphasis on Marketing. In addition Chris has held directorships within a number of locally and Internationally based organizations during his career, commencing at this level of senior management more than 15 years ago.

Involvement in many successful automotive industry initiatives has culminated in organizations in which Chris has directly participated being recognized by the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association on many occasions. Receiving numerous awards for marketing, manufacturing and product development programmes over his 25-year career. In addition, Chris has gained exposure to international business via direct involvement in commercial activities within Europe, Asia, North America and South Africa. Chris is now recognized as a significant member of the automotive industry within Australasia.
