Las Vegas, Nevada—Takeda by aFe pulled the wraps off a tricked out Infiniti G37S Coupe at the 2012 SEMA Show. Project GT37S showcases the latest Takeda Infiniti performance products along with a wide range of aftermarket components.

Starting with Infiniti’s powerful 24-valve 3.7-liter V6 and a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox, Takeda added their new Attack Cold Air Intake system and performance exhaust system. The Attack Cold Air intake increases power output by 19-horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque. Attack places the single Takeda air filter in front of the radiator to guarantee cooler high-pressure air to the engine. Underhood appeal increased with polished intake tubes that are clear anodized to protect the look.

Takeda’s cat-back performance exhaust system is also an innovative design for the G37. It features a dual traverse muffler layout to maximize exhaust flow without hindering ground clearance. It is constructed from 2.5-inch mandrel bent stainless steel tubing to increase flow and features two mid-system resonators to fine-tune the exhaust note. Finishing off the system are two 4.75-inch double wall 304 polished stainless exhaust tips.

Project GT37S has a more aggressive stance than a stock G37S thanks to an Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Spring package and handling is augmented with a Hotchkis Sport Sway Bar Set. The factory wheel and tire package was upgraded with RAYS 57Xtreme Matt Graphite 19-inch wheels with Falken Azenis FK-453 performance tires. The fronts are 275-35ZR-19s mounted on 8.5 x 19 wheels and the rears are 27530ZR-19s on 9.5 x 19 inch RAYS.

The exterior of Project GT37S attracts attention anywhere it goes. Paradise Wraps added the full-body graphic wrap with large Takeda logos offset in asymmetrical locations on the low and lean Infiniti G-Coupe body. A race-inspired front air dam and rear deck wing complete the high performance look.
