Wrap Revolution - New HPTC coating good for an industry best-in-class 1350F operating temperature for fiberglass wraps

Share

The wrap revolution is here! Our best in class proprietary HPTC coating for our already high-quality exhaust wraps. All fiberglass wraps have a maximum operating temperature of 1000°F, if coated 1200°F with peak capabilities of 2000°F for less than 30 seconds. Our revolutionary proprietary coating, allows our fiberglass wraps to operate at 1350°F continuously. In addition to increasing the temperature parameters of the wrap, it also allows the wrap to remain, flexible and strong. Fiberglass fibers start to become weak and brittle at 1000°F, coatings will extend the base temp to 1200°F, but the fibers will still become brittle. With our new coating, not only does it give the fiberglass a higher rated temperature of 1350°F, but it allows the fibers to remain flexible.

Flexible fibers will expand and contract with the metal of the exhaust system, ensuring long term maximum heat retention and a longer life! The coating also gives our wraps an increased abrasion resistance even at 1350°F! HPTC has yet another benefit, less fraying when cutting and installing, fewer fibers, and less itch. Our black version, is deep black and it stays deep black even after it has been heat cycled. Simply put, no other fiberglass can some close to strength, temperature, and quality.

All our exhaust wraps are asbestos free and is made from a base high quality fiberglass yarn. It is also noncombustible, water, and fungus resistant. Best of all, we make everything right here in the USA, since 1985.
