Superwinch will showcase the Lockheed Martin Squad Mission Support System (SMSS) at SEMA this year, complete with the company’s military-grade Superwinch Talon. Tested overseas with US ground forces, the SMSS represents Superwinch’s commitment to providing top-level winches while meeting the individual needs of our fighting men and women.

The SMSS was deployed in Afghanistan in 2011 as an experiment with autonomous robots working to benefit the Warfighter. The unit can navigate autonomously, provide transport and serve as a power management resource improving combat readiness.

Superwinch was selected to provide the electric Talon winch, the company’s premium line of performance winches. “With a fast no-load speed of 62 feet per minute, the Talon winch is a great example of our ability to match performance with value,” says Ned Cunningham, Superwinch CEO. “Consumers can expect to find performance features that lead Lockheed Martin to our expertise in our line of premium winches down the line to our standard issue winches.”

Superwinch’s 42 years of experience is unmatched with proven capabilities in engineering, designing, building and testing winches. With global manufacturing bases in the USA and UK, Superwinch is ideally positioned to provide the best performing winch, at the best price.
