October 30, 2012 Las Vegas, NV- Designed for the rigors of trophy-style off-road competitions around the globe, the new Talon XXtreme from Superwinch pulls incredibly fast thanks to a pair of hard-working motors from the company’s premium Talon winch. Mounted to a pair of CNC’d anodized aluminum drum supports, the electric motors combine to offer a whopping 12 horsepower and turns at a staggering 6400 RPM.

Superwinch has a fabled history with trophy racing, reaching back to the days of the Camel Trophy. The company sponsored the 2012 Croatia Trophy as well as the annual Superwinch Tough Truck Challenge and Superwinch 24 Hour Teams Challenge; both in New Zealand. Superwinch is also the official winch for Jeep Jamboree USA; three years and counting.

The XXtreme winch by Superwinch also features the Talon Series external mechanical brake that keeps heat build up away from the heat-sensitive synthetic rope. The heavily modified drum carries up to 150 feet of ½” diameter synthetic rope on massive 8mm thick flanges. Superwinch expects the winch to ship in Q1 of 2013 for an undisclosed amount.

Superwinch’s 42 years of experience is unmatched with proven capabilities in engineering, designing, building and testing winches. With global manufacturing bases in the USA and UK, Superwinch is ideally positioned to provide the best performing winch, at the best price.
