Nitrous Division of Design Engineering Inc., (DEI) Announces Sponsorship of National Association of Diesel Motorsports (NADM)
Avon Lake…Ny-Trex, a leading manufacturer of quality nitrous oxide products and a division of Design Engineering, Inc. (DEI), is proud to announce their support for the National Association of Diesel Motorsports (NADM) for the 2012 season. DEI/Ny-Trex recently signed as the endorsed product sponsor for the NADM/DIESEL Motorsports 2012 race season. The 2012 seven series event begins May 5 in Sedalia, MO and concludes November 30 in Orlando, FL.
NADM/DIESEL Motorsports is recognized as the only SFI sanctioning body for diesel motorsports and holds over 60 events nationwide featuring over five classes in drag racing and sled pulling. Since the inception of NADM, there have been multiple world records: Bo Layne for Scheid Diesel in Top Diesel for the ¼ mile (7.11 seconds @ 193 mph), ¼ mile in Pro Diesel class by Wade Moody (7.87 at 171 mph), and a record in the Unlimited Street 1/8 mile by Philip Palmer of Stuckey Racing (6.152 at 116.44 mph).
NADM/DIESEL Motorsports offers multiple competitive events including heart-throbbing drag racing, sled pulling, and dyno-pulls that put the finest diesel engineering to the maximum test. The season begins in early spring with affiliate events before it begins in earnest at the Missouri State Fairgrounds on May 5.
Ken Maynard, Ny-Trex Power Adders product manager, says, “The timing for a sponsorship of NADM could not have been better suited. We are already known for our no-hassle lifetime warranty on our solenoid valves, but this year we are bringing a new focus to our diesel product line. Not to mention that we have many on staff who are diesel enthusiasts. While we have always offered products that work for gas or diesel – now we have introduced nitrous kits specially designed for diesel. We wish all the competitors this year the best and look forward to a very exciting season.”
NADM President, Ron Knoch, added, “We are extremely pleased to have DEI’s support this year. Ny-Trex Nitrous has an excellent line of products that dovetails well with our base of support. Our association takes endorsed product sponsorship very seriously – money alone does not qualify. Product sponsors must first undergo testing by competitors and members of our staff and be widely accepted in the market-at-large. Endorsed product sponsors must first meet our standards for quality and precision and adequately represent the high standards of the association.”
