Pareto Point Industries wins SemiFinalist Position in National CleanTech Open Competition.

(San Pedro, CA, – Sept 28, 2012. Pareto Point Industries (PPI) has been selected as a semifinalist in the 2012 National CleanTech Open (CTO) Competition for its Parallel-Flow Oil Bypass Filtration System (PBF). PPI is now eligible for Regional and National Awards, totaling $1,000,000 in cash, products, services and also International media recognition.
Developed primarily for smaller engines and equipment (below Class 7/8 trucks), PBF is an affordable and easy-to-install technology that finely cleans motor oil, reducing frictional and other parasitic losses caused by engine wear, while optimizing performance. Finely cleaned oil also allows vehicle or equipment owners the option to extend their oil and filter changes, saving time and money while reducing the national demand for scarce resources.
According to PPI’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Bob Hammer, “Our early aftermarket customers have been very excited about PBF. With their testimonials and a solid record of great performance, we are now able to move to fleet and non-automotive sales, which is very exciting.”
PPI, involved in oil management products for over 12 years, offers a number of other oil filtration products as well, such as the MagDog Magnetic Filtration Device, popular with engine builders, off-roaders and racers.
The CleanTech Open judging will take place in October, and the National winners will be announced in November.

Please visit us at SEMA – Booth 35258 – South Hall, adjacent to the New Products Showcase, to see the PBF system (we call it TopDog V for the Aftermarket) as well as Magdog and our other products.
