NEW MUSTANG GAINS EXTRA PONIES & LOSES DRONE WITH PERFORMANCE DYNOMAX® VT™ STAINLESS STEEL SYSTEM
LAS VEGAS, Tues., Nov. 1, 2011 – Extra horsepower, extra torque and drone-free performance are three key characteristics DynoMax® engineers have included in the brand-new system for 2011-12 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 models. The new DynoMax system is built around a pair of exclusive, drone-free DynoMax VT™ mufflers.
DynoMax Performance Exhaust, manufactured and marketed by Tenneco (NYSE: TEN), is one of North America’s leading brands of dyno-proven exhaust technologies for late-model and classic muscle cars, diesel and gas trucks and SUVs.
The new dual system posted a gain of 10 horsepower and 9-ft. lbs. of torque. Built to last, the new 2.75-in. system includes high-quality, 409-grade stainless steel, a premium material that provides extended protection against corrosion. This Mustang exhaust system was designed to work with the stock rear fascia for an integrated, polished finish and includes 3.5-in. outlet, double walled, buffed and polished 10-in. long slant-cut tips.
Also included in the new DynoMax VT system are exclusive DynoMax VT mufflers, an innovative, high-flow stainless steel muffler design that controls irritating drone while ensuring maximum performance.
Designed around the precisely calibrated patented internal valve, the muffler also includes slotted bushing ends; exclusive Continuous Roving Fiberglass (CRF) technology that absorbs additional unwanted interior resonance and allows for a rich, deep performance tone; and a show-stopping DynoMax VT logo-embossed body with a high-impact micro-finish.
The 100-percent welded mufflers included in the Mustang system were engineered specifically to deliver DynoMax’s “Drone-Free Performance™” and feature a straight-through, unrestricted design that is dyno-proven to support up to 2,000 CFM and 2,000 horsepower.
All necessary OE-style rod hangers and other hardware are included in the kit. DynoMax systems include handy, full-color guides for fast and easy installations.
The new system is covered by an exclusive 90-day Performance and Sound Guarantee that lets enthusiasts try the system for 90 days. Consumers can return the product within 90 days for a full refund of its purchase price. The system also is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Additional restrictions apply and can be found at www.DynoMax.com.
