Real Deal Steel, LLC Introduces 1957 Convertible Skeleton
New Steel Bodies For Classics!
Thursday, October 27, 2011 - Sanford, Florida USA - Real Deal Steel, LLC is excited to announce the introduction of their all-new 1957 Convertible steel skeleton. This skeleton is the complete main body structure less the exterior skins (which are available as an extra cost option). Included are the full floor and trunk floor with all braces and supports, firewall/cowl/A-pillar and windshield frame assembly, inner and outer rocker panels, inner quarters/trunk walls/wheelhouse panels and the complete trunk hinge assembly. All components are fully fixture-welded in the USA ready for exterior skin installation.
Optional upgrades include factory installation of new full quarter panels/rear deck panel/tailpan, fitted doors/hinges and deck lid and a restored steel dash. All components welded (doors and deck lid bolted) and fitted into place, ready for minor finish work and paint.
Real Deal Steel is the innovator of the all-new Silver Weld-Thru primer technology which allows for quicker panel installation by not having to grind or remove an E-coat finish. The Silver Weld-Thru primer gives a pleasing steel-look finish which can be scuffed, primed and painted.
