Metal Rescue™ and Dry Coat™ Deliver a One-Two Punch to Rust

Howell, MI -- October 28, 2011 -- Metal Rescue™ Rust Remover Bath won three Global Media Awards at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. It was selected for its safety, ease of use and effectiveness. It is joined in 2011 by its perfect complement, Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative, a quick drying, non-sticky and long-lasting rust preventative. Metal Rescue™ removes rust and Dry Coat™ keeps parts rust-free.

Dry Coat™ Rust Preventative is a significant advancement in rust prevention technology that replaces solvent and oil-based corrosion inhibitors.  This water-based product is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and can be applied via spray, dip or flow coat.  Once applied, Dry Coat™ provides a clear protective coating that will dry-to-touch within 30 minutes at ambient conditions, does not attract dirt or dust on metal parts, and provides protection for up to one year for items stored indoors.

Dry Coat™ and Metal Rescue™ are cutting-edge products offered by Workshop Hero™, a new division of Armor Protective Packaging®, a Michigan-based industrial company specializing in corrosion management systems.  Workshop Hero™ products are clean, safe, easy to use, and are designed to take the “work” out of workshop.

**Metal Rescue™ will not remove or harm the vast majority of paint coatings. However, if there is a layer of rust under the paint some of the paint coating will be lost as Metal Rescue™ removes the rust and therefore the paint on top of the rust. Also, some paints (and inks) may use iron oxide pigments (usually orange or red). Since Metal Rescue™ has been engineered to remove iron oxide, it may dissolve the pigment in these types of paints. It is always best to test on a small section or hidden area prior to use.
