RDE1 - Creating Engaging Consumer Videos for Marketing
Presented by Kristen Felder, CollisionHub
Let’s face it we live in a video driven world. Right now 69% of all mobile internet traffic is to watch video. Of all the internet traffic over 56% of it is for video consumption. If you're not doing video you’re missing out on over 1/2 of the internet traffic that could be going to your competitor. In today's collision repair industry it is more vital than ever that we make meaningful and personal connections with our current and potential customers on line. Our best tool for those connections is video. It allows the customer to see and hear your message of service and quality repairs. Online users want answers to immediate questions and the day of a FAQ section on your website are over. Learn the basic principles of creating engaging video content along with easy to follow production steps in this hands-on class.
Attendees will learn the principles of video marketing to consumers: How to create video ideas; How to plan a shoot; How to direct and produce a video; Important steps in post-production; Finally how to upload, optimize and promote a video. At the end of class attendees will receive access to an online video series that explains all the steps in greater detail and available for them to replay at any time ensuring they'll have help long after SEMA is over.
Will also provide 3 pre-fab videos for the shop to add their name and contact information to. Allowing them to immediately return home and add video to YouTube and their website. Attendees will also get hands-on with a variety of production equipment from the phones they bring to class to affordable cameras, lights, microphones and other equipment associated with productions.
