I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, 2011 SEMA ShowI-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is returning to the SEMA Show in 2013 with I-CAR training available to attendees each day of the SEMA Show. I-CAR training is structured around individual’s roles as collision industry professionals and helps achieve the knowledge required to advance in the industry.

Hazardous Materials, Personal Safety, and Refinish Safety (WKR01)

Understanding the many components of working safely in a repair facility can greatly impact business performance. Identifying specific procedures that can prevent injuries, understanding the correct methods for storage and disposal of hazardous materials and wastes, as well as recognizing the proper personal protective equipment can each play a role in creating a safe and efficient workplace. Content in this course will cover basic procedures for safety and preventative measures in the shop. the importance of labeling in the workplace, hazardous material exposures and storage regulations, personal protective equipment, hazardous waste types, regulations and proper storage. 









This course meets I-CAR ProLevel or annual training requirements for the following roles: Estimator, Steel Structural Technician, Aluminum Structural Technician, Refinish Technician,  and Electrical/Mechanical Technician.

Get the Recognition You Deserve:

When an individual takes an I-CAR course and successfully completes the post-test, he or she will earn points valid towards their I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designation or I-CAR Platinum Individual designation requirements.
