I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, 2011 SEMA ShowI-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is returning to the SEMA Show in 2013 with I-CAR training available to attendees each day of the SEMA Show. I-CAR training is structured around individual’s roles as collision industry professionals and helps achieve the knowledge required to advance in the industry.

Damage Analysis of Advanced Automotive Systems (DAM07)

Today's vehicles have an increased amount of electrical and mechanical systems. Passenger comfort and safety are the driving forces behind these changes. Keep up with changes in technology with this course to better understand the implications of these electrical and mechanical systems throughout the collision repair process. After completing this course, you will be able to identify whether a vehicle is equipped with various advanced systems, understand how specific features are designed to operate and how they integrate with other systems, and determine if a system is operating properly during the damage analysis process. Note: This course, along with DAM03 (also offered at SEMA) satisfies one Knowledge Area in the I-CAR Professional Development Program.  

This course meets I-CAR ProLevel or annual training requirements for the following roles: Estimator, Electrical/Mechanical Technician, and Auto Physical Damage Appraiser.

Three (3) Training Credit Hours

Get the Recognition You Deserve:

When an individual takes an I-CAR course and successfully completes the post-test, he or she will earn points valid towards their I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designation or I-CAR Platinum Individual designation requirements.
