Synapse Engineering Inc. Blow-Off & Diverter Valve Matching for Turbo Customers
When:
November 1, 2012 - 12:00pm - 12:30pm
Where:
Las Vegas Convention Center, N259 Ford projected that only 15% of F150's sold would select the Turbo Ecoboost as an option, actual sales were 40% in Q3 2011. With engine downsizing the proliferation of factory turbocharged power plants is apparent. Each turbocharged vehicle today is equipped with a blow-off or diverter valve. This is an opportunity for making sales to nearly every customer that has a turbocharger under the hood. The first step in this process is to identify what the BOV/DV is, where it is located and what product can you sell to replace it and improve your customer's performance. With the right strategy, you can have a customer in and out of the bay in 30 minutes or less and have made a sale of $300-$500 in parts and $100+ in labor
